So I took the engine out for some repairs/cleaning and my dad and I are having a lot of trouble trying to get it back in. Does anyone have any help they could offer? We've beens tuck with this for awhile and I would really appreciate some help.
Thank you!
Chain hoist, or lift of some kind will do the trick.

I found it easy to do myself by placing the whole motor on a floor jack. Easy to roll into place and position...then just jack it into place.

We've been trying to use a floor jack, but we haven't exactly tried balancing the whole motor on it(we've been using it in conjunction with ratchet straps to try and get it in place). Would you happen to remember how you balanced it on the jack? (Is there a spot to put on the jack or did you just hold it steady?)
Thank you again.
Put it on the jack, balance it the best you can, and hold it steady. Real easy job with 4 hands.
I had mine balanced on the floor jack and was able to get it real close to being in place. Then I took the opposite root and moved the frame into position to get everything lined up perfectly. You'd be surprised at how light the fame is with the engine out. I'm 5'6 160 lbs and I was able to pick the frame up without much of an issue.
Yeah, I used a smaller jack with a 2 inch top and it balanced nicely right on the back of the oil pan.

I pulled mine out and put it back in with an ATV jack I picked up for $90 on special and 2 pieces of wood.

Further down the build thread was removing it from the parts bike. Do the reverse to put one in.

Thank you all for the help. My dad and I ended up getting it back in using a car jack(although now that I see those other styles I can see why they would be preferable since the engine can actually be set on them) and some prying. If I have to do it again sometime I will definitely follow adidasguy's example there. It looks much much easier than what we did.
