And the tornado lol.:
I basically just watched those to listen to the radio lol.
And I love how there's a freaking tornado right in front of you and you whip out your camera. That's like taking a picture of your bike while it's in flames lol.
it was a mile or two away. you saw the outer band of it. after I shut video down, I took off back toward Clinton, ( check the evening drive, its nearly same route. that market was where I shot the tornado warning video. anyhoo I turned left and instant blinding downpour. aka horizontal rain etc. that storm I think dropped one nearby. trees moving in same direction etc.
Wait... Clinton, Arkansas?? Do you happen to know Brendan Bowen?

Ball joints ... he he that almost makes sense, the stupid truck eats em ... I seem to have got a decent handle on it via those moog ones and pump em full of grease with each oil change.
Thanks bro.

I never had problems out of mine. i put almost 300k on it before it picked a fight with a tree. and lost. i do like hte double sump oiling system on the police package. the oil seals, on the popo version versus the civvy police is vinned p71 civvy is p74 the oiling system tends to leak at the oil cooler up front. the finned oil pan helps in cooling too.
BTW buddha, if you get a voc or grand marquis, lmk i do have a police prisoner cage, a siren, and a few other pieces. they are yours if you wish. free of charge

STFU ... he he he ... would be cool to drop the kid in the back and he he he ...
OK Ms Piggy dude isn't calling me back yet ... and the mitsu diamante has to be diagnosed first too.
Cool.

well technically youre close by :). theyre doing nothing for me. car wont be driveable. my health wont let me drive for quite a while. once or if it improves, ill get another vic. love those cars. body on frame construction. I had a diamante briefly. it blew up. and I wasn't even giving it hell.
TBH I have a huge soft corner for an expedition. Precisely the 2000/01 version. I've got my eye on one with a bad fuel pump. And there is several others around here. It mey be my prefered car, and this time the wife has bought into it ... last time she wasn't into the thing so we had to get a car.
Cool.

love em myself. its basically your truck with a passenger cabin. horrible mileagwe, BUT a nice drive

I'd have bought that instead of the mitsu 7 yrs ago. She was not that warm to it then. Now she's leaning that way.
Cool.

Either one of the two would be a great hcoice for longevity. my vic, in the video was almost at 300k miles. didnt use any oil. well, it leaked out of the front oil cooler. about a quart once every 3k miles. a quart if that.
I'm still hoping the mitsu makes it alive.
My next option may be to trade the GS for an expedition - like the one with bad fuel pump I'll have my mechanic buy it, and I'll buy the fuel pump and he can fix it and do a tune up etc etc and trade for the GS. Lets see.
Cool.

would be a sweet trade. fuel pump swaps are fairly easy
OK the Mixy bixy tranny is fried ... But it runs fine in 2 ... wont go to 3 or anything more. May be a solenoid you guy think ? or fried tranny - it throw p0751 code ...
Now what ...
OK the 2g low mile Crown vic is gone, the 1600 low mile altima guy hasn't figured out how to answer the phone or use the internet I think, the $1500 expedition - well, there is several expeditions in that 1000-2g range I am not in much of a hurry to get it ... so ... what gives ...
A $850 Bixy in near immaculate condition turned up. Blown motor - or timing jumped motor. See 3 months ago my bixy did that. We slapped a new water pump, idler, belt, and timed it, and vroom vroom ...
Or I yank its tranny and drop it in mine ...
Or I yank my motor and drop it in that car ... Sucker is black (my favorite color on the bixy and damn well better shape than mine) ... has aftermarket 3 pc alloy wheels ... its pretty much well maintained - even more than mine.
Tomorow it gets picked up ... lets see ... something gonna give parts to the other thing.
Cool.

I want to get an Interceptor and turn it into an Autocross car. How much fun would that be.
With the right rear gearing they are FUN to drive lol. and easyon fuel if you are easy on the pedal . auto X not so much lol. but still a fun car to do this in. plus a trunk large enough to haul the gear in.
Oh heck yeah, throw some 4.56 gears in there, some super sticky tires, and the big 'ol factory sway bar for the interceptor. You could go crazy and mod the snot out of it, but what fun would that be.
and a 5 speed out of a 4.6 mustang ;)
