Title: WTB: brake lever
Post by: Erika on October 13, 2013, 07:45:28 AM
Hi. I did a stupid maneuver this morning before my coffee and bent my brake lever. Anyone have a spare you could part with? Preferably an adjustable lever?

If not... got any recommendations on where to get decent aftermarket levers? Or OEM vs aftermarket?

Suzuki does have an adjustable brake lever for the GS. You can find it at a Suzuki dealership. It's part number 57300-32C10. Apparently it's listed for the older bikes, but will work for newer ones as well with no modification. Should be around $20, I think.

Another option is to drop your wallet on those crazy expensive levers from Germany. I forget what they're called because I refuse to pay $125 for a lever lol.

Motion-Pro makes excellent replacement levers. Price is good. Brake is adjustable.
