What a bike - loving it. Here's a pic, 2010 GS500E in black. Already reading about the aftermarket exhausts and mods. Any Sydney GS riders, keen to do a ride.

Plenty of Sydneysiders here and I am sure they will chime in shortly.
Welcome :thumb:
Yep, Sydney (North)sider here. Been thinking of organising a road ride as we seem to have a few newish Sydney area members onboard.
Looks pretty tasty Sasha :icon_lol:

I think they stopped selling the GS in the US in 2001. Its a shame, the later year bikes look great!

They stopped sellign the nakes in the US in 02, and made the fairinged version.
Of course we turn those into nakeds ...

I usually try and turn most things in my life in to nakeds. Including my 2005 GS that I bought here in the States.

So is that a stock metallic black color? That is super awesome color! And what's with the user name? I named my '05 Sasha right after I bought it new! Kid you not.
Dan

Yep, all stock colour - the motor is actually kind of greyish as well. Sounds weird, but looks excellent in the flesh. Yep, Sasha's the name - Russian parents, and yes, I'm male ;)

Nice, let me know when and will drop along
Yea, another Sydneysider here. You're on SR on Facebook aren't you? Your name sounds familiar.
Keen to do a ride most of the time, check your PM.
I'm on SR (now SydBike) but refuse to have anything to do with facebook.
@Sasha, one hell of a beauty you got there. Getting a newer one imported here in Pakistan is costing a s..t load of money like 12300 US$ or 12602 aus $ :-/. F..k the customs here man
In the 90's the cops in pakisthan used to have RG250's.
See if you can ge tone of those.
Or an Indian Bullet - which would probably get you stoned to death or something.
Cool.

That's a bit of a rort - a low km 2010 here costs around $5k aud. Bit surprised some of the US guys don't try and import newer models, wouldn't cost that much

Again, we got the GS until '09. So they are easily found used for $2,000 - $3,000 US with low miles.
