I rode to work today, and everything was fine. There was no oil under my bike where I park it at my apt, but when I was leaving tonight to go home, I noticed I had an oil spot under the bike, near where the front sprocket cover is, It was dripping off the oil pan bolts, but I am guessing that is because they are the lowest points I also noticed that somehow a bolt came out that holds the sprocket cover in place. Could this be the cause somehow for the oil leak?
Basically something happened either on my ride into work today, about 3 miles, and from the time I left 10 hours later. I have no clue what else it could be.

Also I swear my bike is not that dirty, its' the flash.
I vote chain lube.
Take the sprocket cover off and give it a good clean in there most times it is a build of up chain lube that melts as the bike gets hot and then runs down which looks like oil
I vote to pull the cover, clean everything out behind it and do an inspection
I don't think that cover holds oil. Just the sprocket cover. Most likely chain oil as stated earlier. The loose bolt is now a new hole for buildup gunk to come out of from earlier.
my clutch pushrod seal recently started leaking, the gunk that gets built up on it can rip the seal. Just another thing to give some attention to.
Well checked the bike tonight, 24 hrs later, and there are no oil marks anywhere on the asphalt. So it seems like it was just chain oil then. It is a month old chain and sprockets, and I just cleaned that cover then too. So I guess mystery solved. :)
The backs of these sprocket covers get absolutely nasty with all the road grime and chain lube that mix together in there. When I got my bike it had so much buildup it was almost contacting the chain and front sprocket
