Title: Clutch cable adjustment issue
Post by: broken26 on November 11, 2013, 12:27:51 AM
Sorry if I'm asking a question answered before, I've looked and can't find exactly what I need to know. What I need to know is which direction on the sprocket cover clutch cable adjustment do I need to screw to give my clutch cable slack? Already on the lever portion it's already at full slack and I ride with it at the clutch engaging slightly too far where I'm use to. I just don't want to mess with it until I know if I screw the adjuster clockwise or anti on the sprocket cover so I don't spend too much time fidgeting with it when I can just find an answer.

Thanks

BUMP

I'm interested in this too, I'm going to be changing out my perch to an SV650 type soon and will be inserting a new clutch cable.

You need to screw the adjuster into the case, so that you effectively shorten the outer. In other words, clockwise as you look down on the adjuster.
