Post by: Donnie on November 12, 2013, 02:08:56 PM
Is there any particular years that the r6 shock that wont work because of the charge cylinder ? I have an o4 r6 but the cylinder is vertical in relation to shock instead of parallel... anyone?

I believe it's 2006+ R6.

Have a read through this thread: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=52334.0 (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=52334.0) You can find older stuff on the site using google search, I haven't had any luck with the gstwins.com search.

Older models or any year R6S won't work (they are the same shock). It needs to have the reservoir perpendicular to the spring, like this one:

also needs to have the clevis/base like the one in the picture... there are ones around similar that have a twin leg bottom... which wont work
