What and if you have had a crack at it...
What is your best time from....
0 - 100 km/h (60mph) on the all mighty though (HUMBLE) GS500 :icon_question: :dunno_black:
My 1st crack at the 0 - 100 >>> http://youtu.be/lapfOmG_rbI :icon_rolleyes: shaZam! start :icon_rolleyes:
Well, that was a bit of a rolling start -- so it's a bit hard to figure out what that was exactly. Just under 6s?
Never timed myself, might do one later this month. I think the GS is good for around 5.5 seconds or so? Perhaps a touch under 5.5 with an excellent launch.
:thumb: Sounds good!
I may have to use this as an excuse to test the fastest droid app :icon_razz: Kinda curious how much of a real world impact my massive rejet makes :thumb:

My list of data from all published GS tests I've found shows 4.6-6.0 sec for 0-60 mph times:
http://www.gs500.net/gallery/data/500/GS500tests.jpg
100 km/h = 62.5 mph
After the issues I had with my new air filter recently, I can safely say that the last time I tried to get from 0-100kph took about 5 days.

That about covers it.

Sounds like when I tried riding with a serious exhaust leak.
I should have known something was wrong when I had to rev up to 6K just to let off the clutch without stalling. :dunno_black:

I reckon... 6K
Bugger... I forgot about this when I was riding other day! :icon_neutral:
However... I did ride home that night in the heavy rain.... With high beam on at 100km/h .... It looked kinda like the millennium falcon going to hyperspace in the visor! :D

Plenty of time.... "Millennium falcon going to hyperspace in the visor" That's some serious shaZam! Janx or you'd had some serious shaZam! before you left for home :D
Conditions were just right... Headwind shoving the rain toward me at an angle ... Speed just right... Refraction/reflection of the headlight also just right.... It was bizarre!
Had the ghost cam on the helmet and reviewed the footage... But the lens was just loaded with water and couldn't see squat clearly...
Only thing I 'had' was a can of redbull ...
Was... As Forrest Gump said...."great big fat rain!" ... Legs and boots were soaked.. But jacket worked flawlessly!
