Title: Bowl screws
Post by: Jimbob on November 23, 2013, 12:04:51 AM
Hey as some of you may know I've been looking out for a set of carbs and there is someone that can sell me some but they are missing the bowl screws. Does anyone have some?

Use stainless allen head screws from your local hardware store. (unless you mean the drain screws)

M4x0.7  12mm long

For some reason there is a consensus in here that says socket-cap heads must be used as replacements.

They don't!!........It may be the personal choice of some but the fact is you can use whatever head you want (except countersunks) or can find,  in plated or stainless to prevent corrosion.

My own choice is a pan-head Phillips simply because they are very common and easiest to find and they don't look out of place on the carb body but each type of head will all work just as well as the others  :dunno_black:
