Title: WTB Seat base
Post by: Joolstacho on December 01, 2013, 02:30:36 AM
Does anyone in Oz have an old seat or seatbase they don't need?
Condition of the covering and sponge padding is unimportant, -don't even mind if the plastic seatbase is damaged.
I want to make a custom seat and just need to get something to start with.

What year do you require and where are you in OZ?

Mate, either type of seatbase I can work with. Possibly the later '02 onwards type would be better, but because I'll be modifying it with fibreglass I could work with either type.
I'm near Melbourne (about an hour west, towards Ballarat) but obviously I'll pay for post and whatever you think is a fair price.

Cheers mate, seat arrived today, -I owe you one.
The plan is to remodel the front with fibreglass to make it sit 'into' the new type tank better, maybe add a little padding, (my skinny arse!), and possibly a rear cowl over the pillion section.
Thanks again
