Today...I sold my beautiful yellow Suzie
Felt really upset after it went, walked up and down where I used to park it and it's hard to believe I won't be seeing it any more. Not an oil mark or grease spot on the ground to remember it by.
Wish I could have kept her, but I was always going to get a 600RR, for two years the decision was made to get a 600RR when I would be eligible and I couldn't afford having to save up more to buy another bike and maintain Suzie at the same time. It's funny...I owned a car for two years and did feel a bit sad after I sold it, but was over it in about half-an-hour to be honest.
This is going to take awhile! The crappy thing is, I forgot to take a picture with me on it in the nearly 5 months I've had her. I have plenty of pictures of it, plenty with my younger brother on it, some with me standing near it, some with me leaning on it like a retard, but not a cool James Dean rebel one. Will contact the buyer later and request that I be allowed to sit on it and take a picture later. It went to a learner, I so pray that it will be OK!
Anyone got any sad stories to share?
Well, when I went from my 07 GS500F to my 06 GSXR1000, I didnt miss it. :nono:
I'll be getting rid of mine come Spring. She's just not worth the trouble anymore.
I haven't sold mine yet. I've been wanting to sell it for a while, but the things we have gone through together for the past few years will make it emotionally hard to let go.
i can understand your feelings of sadness at losing your 'girl' ....
this will pass.... probably about 3 or 4 seconds after you hear the throaty husky seductive sexy voice of the 600RR idling... it'll sound like "brrmmmbrrrmbrrrmohyeahbigboybrrrmbrrmridemehardandfast!!brrrrmbrrm!!youknowiloveitwhenyougiveittomehardbrrrrmBRRRM!!!!!"
