This is something that I do with every tire change I do. It has never prevented a theft, but it has caught two thieves that I am aware of (customers' bikes).

How you been, long time no see.
Cool.

I come back from time to time and have no real complaints...just bitchy, as usual.

that's how we know youre alright Eh? , anyhoo been meaning to get ahold of you, still wanting one of those drills if available. but awaiting taxes first. so thinking ill pm you in a few weeks maybe a month and see whats out there.
moving studio to house. job situation is scaring me atm.
Any time you're ready, man, just hit me up and I'll help you get it sorted out.
Of course, if you sell the bike properly, you'd want to remove the note or the new owner could be in for a surprise.
It should stay in. At worst you'll get one awkward call. You should inform your buyer, though, just in case, but that tag staying in there after the bike was sold has caught a thief who was breaking bikes on eBay.
