Title: Two airbox tubes?
Post by: zephyr_bike on December 20, 2013, 02:27:08 PM
I am putting my bike back together after rebuilding the carbs and I can't remember what the two tubes are for the air box. It looks like the older GS's only had one tube. One routes to the top of my frame I think and the other looks like it goes under the bike. Does the one from the frame go to the higher tube port on the airbox?

What is that thing anyway?

On the 04+ bikes there are 3 tubes going to the airbox.  The lowest going towards the bottom of the frame is a liquid drain line; the other from the bottom goes to the PAIR system, and the line on top is the breather for the engine's top end.

Ah, thanks very much. Seemed obvious once I installed the air box.
