Tried the 15T and it was too much shifting when riding around town. These bikes seem to have more low end grunt anyway, so I didn't notice much of a difference. I'm gettin old, too, so my desire to do wheelies and to constantly shift through gears is long gone.
Put on a 17T and WOW I echo the thought that this bike should have come with a 17T from the factory. First gear is actually pretty usable and I find myself only going to 3rd gear for most around-town riding (45-50MPH). I have yet to take it on the highway, but I'm guessing long jaunts at 75MPH will be a non-issue now.
Had a 17 but put on a 15....mind you didnt give 17 enough of a run. Im 125kg and I gather the 17 plus my weight the bike mite shat its pants in take off hahaha...
