Title: New owner in NY
Post by: EastBoundAndDown on January 05, 2014, 12:59:21 PM
Bought a 92 GS500 this week. She needs carb work as it is leaking and not running that well. While I am in there, I plan on rejetting the pilots to 40, and install an on/off switch as I distrust vaccum petcocks. I have a clymer manual coming my way, which was $18 on ebay.

I plan on using the bike as a 2nd street bike or buddy bike. I'm going to keep it pretty stock, except for some bar end mirrors. The bike is not mint, and has sat around alot, as the ODO only reads 2600 miles.

Any advice? Seems like a great forum and resource!
