Post by: Ron888 on January 22, 2014, 05:58:42 AM
Hi guys
Just so you know, carb parts can clog halfway through a jetting session!!
I was going nuts trying to feed more and more fuel to the midrange and it seemed it wasnt changing much! The needle clip was in the lowest position plus a 4mm spacer under it as well.I even tried screwing main jets in where the mid jets should be (!) and still the sucker starved in the midrange. It could be made to run at WOT if some petrol was spraying in the carb mouths to pull it through the midrange, thats what was confusing me.Surely the filter couldnt have changed the motor that much?!?

It got so ridiculous i knew something had to be wrong :-).There was
After (another) complete carb strip and clean suddenly everything is ok again.I'll try some fine tuning again later- once my hair grows back, lol
