Seriously, please stop melting the stupid icebergs or whatever.

no shî Eh?, its IMHO part of the heating/cooling phases of this planet. man is not innocent. but not the super villain either. these major drops suck its literally killing me. I cant afford to get sick again lol. 72f plus today. will get out and enjoy these. anyhoo take care and enjoy it :)
If I were starting from 72F, I wouldn't be complaining.
Temps in the teens in Damn-Near-March is just.... (grrrrrrrrrr) :technical:
I guess I'll dig Pokey out, wash and rub some rust off him....then re-drain the carbs and re-fill the tank in case more cold comes true.
I was far more tolerant of cold and snow before I had a motorcycle.
I'm sure I'll be whingeing in the summer, too.
I cant imagine the 300 ppm CO2 vs 400 ppm CO2 isn't trivial.
However I also suspect someone is going to invent a very scalable carbon capture technology that simply turns the carbon in the air into useable fuel and we will soon start on how the see saw has swung into dangerously low carbon territory cos we have 200 ppm carbon ...
Man is causing a lot of it, the earth is far more actively causing it, but we have been lucky since the 2 have been opposite in the last few years. If the earth were to ever reverse its direction watch out, we will be in deep deep trouble pronto.
Cool.
Buddha.
I'mma be a hippie for a moment, so bear with me lol. If we keep destroying natural plant life like the rain forests, the CO2 concentration will skyrocket. Trees and other photosynthetic plants are basically the lower atmosphere's filter, providing a balance between oxygen and CO2.
On the flip side of things, everything on the earth is cyclical; water, days, years, seasons, magnetic poles, you name it. That being said, the earth WILL have another ice age, and WILL heat back up again. We're just expediting the process.
On another note, I JUST WANNA FRIGGIN' RIDE.
Most of the O2 on earth comes from the oceans. Phytoplankton(s) is believed to make 50-85% of the planets oxygen. They make food using photosynthesis/Co2 just like other plants. Kill them off and we would done in real quick.
Get your plankton cakes and krill patties hee-yah! . Hot hot cakes and patties! , ice cold glacier wataaah! Crystal clear rainforest treesap inna cup!, get-chore planetary bubbles aaand drinks! ..
Oh sorry... went all baseball game hotdog man there for a moment ;)
sent by willpower and a phone
Err. . Nibbles. . Not bubbles. . Lol
sent by willpower and a phone
Mmm. Planetary bubbles lol.
As far as global warming / icecap melting...
We've found multi-thousand year old cities submerged underwater in regions that shouldn't be moving. Environmentally speaking we're still coming back from an ice age, right? That makes me think the world is warming up on its own... we may be speeding up the process, but still.
Somebody needs to find somewhere that it's 60-70 degrees year round. Then I'll be happy. Until then I'll just be the equivalent of a cranky old man regarding the weather.
The answer is political :whisper: ...and, off-topic discussion of politics or religion is forbidden (thankfully) on every message board in the world.
Someone is going to turn atmospheric carbon into useable fuel ... then the only political point will be ... the democrats will say turn it up to 9, and republicans will say turn it to ... 11 ...
Cool.

If I could think of clever stuff like that, I'd of left the Tard Farm LPW thread years ago. :icon_neutral:
Buddha, you have a profound understanding of our worthless 2-party system.
Good post!
India is almost as bad. Only thing is there they dont have an idealogy to cling to ...
And oh yea ... all elections are wave elections over in India. Almost a ping pong democracy ...
Its not a democrazy till we put the crazy in it ...
