Was talking to a dealer the other day as I was eying off a SV650S and he informs me Suzuki are looking into putting a 500 into that Izuma thingy as a possible replacement for the GS.....interesting times ahead for us in Oz....was thinking of getting a new GS before the SV was spotted but the last one went out the door a week prior.

We decided that a while back as soon as we saw the GW250 aka Inazuma arrive on the US market. It is considerably heavier than other 250s and about the same weight as current 500s. Frame, suspension, etc must have been designed for a 500.

I'd thought about that until I sat on GW at the bike show. It felt more Rebel-sized, but I suppose that could just be the tank.
I admit envy of its gauge cluster, though.

Doubt whether we will see anything on the web, this came from a sales rep of what is possibly in the pipeline back at Suzuki... Had a 10min chat about it and he thinks something will be announced soon enough... very cool if its true... the 250's struggle with me hahaha..
If it's true, I'll wager there'll something about it on the webz well before we had anything from Suzuki US.

Dealer/rep knows..... But isn't allowed to say yet .... Short of nabbing him and pulling out his fingernails with pliers?!?! .... You won't get info from him... ;)
