I guess that old saying is true, because my GS came back to me. Well, I kinda sought it out but in any event its mine again, and in the same shape I left it (with ~3000km more on the odo). I still have my CBR but as crazy as it is I missed this damn bike. In any event, its not "my own" unless I customize it so given there was almost nothing left to do since I had done most of it all already, I changed the pegs....again. The cheapie ebay ones in the wiki were ok, but they rattled a bit because of the washers, and I found them a tad short. But I found a less cheapie set that are made a little better, longer, fit better, and imo look better. What's more, they have a thick rubber bushing between the peg and the bracket so less vibes. They cost me 30 bucks shipped for a set of 4 and require about the same grinding as outlined in the wiki with the exception of the washers, these are a tad thicker than the bracket so you grind a bit off and they fit very snugly, and they are fully adjustable. I also have a spanky new set of Sport Demons waiting to go on when the snow melts. Some peg pics;
