So I've been getting a bunch of riding in so naturally I've been at the gas station at least twice a week. When I open the tank I have to turn the key and pull on the key hole cover to open the cap if I pull up on the key there is a bunch of resistance. I'd assume I need to clean the vent? Second question is the key hole cover spring came off of the holder, it is still on the pin and it dose not appear to be broken what's the best way to get back on?

This is the best info I've seen on cleaning the gas cap:

Thanks! Any thoughts on my second question

So the guide is incorrect for newer fuel caps, its not rocket sinence. So two of the springs were broken I wanted to know if you guys knew where to purchase new springs. I need a springs forr the key cover, there is one that flips it up and there is another one that pushes on a ball bearing on the side that locks it into position. However I was able to clean and lube the gaskets with silicone and now it opens as it should.
