My first actual project bike, I've gone through so many mind changes on what to do to her so I'll be resorting to stock specs and mod cosmetics till I get a feeling on where to take her.
I've seen quite a few videos on this bike and looked up info and am liking her more in more. my oldest daughter said to make it pretty so she can have it when she is old enough. Had one guy offer $700 for it and she actually told him "My bike is not for sale" lol, lil 12 yr old all grown up

Looks just like one a guy close by was selling a week or so ago.  I really don't need another project, but he wanted $600,.......hmm wonder if he still has it,...no,....must,...resist,...

Deff need to add that  :technical: . Should've seen his car, may have to pay a wreacking yard to take it .
He was jus going to scrap the GS but I dunno, it seems that she was calling to me, can't really explain it better than that  :dunno_black: .
I kept telling myself I wouldn't and couldn't afford her but her she is in my driveway coming back  :woohoo:
The first thing I did was clean out the carbs, no adjusting at all, then primed them turned the choke to full and 2-3 sec she kicked over no sputter and roughness, jus a nice smooth high idle. I let her warm up for a few minutes and turned down the choke and she jus purred.
My oldest daughter fell in love with it to, lol, she has nicknamed it , officially yesterday, Stasia it means reborn or something like that but I think the name will stay with her.

Fixed it for you.

Running is 90% of the job. If it runs, the cosmetics are simple to deal with. And the cosmetics are where you can have a lot of fun and explore your creativity.

Based on the handle bars, she;s a 1989 model. Bars worth over $100 if you decide to change them to other bars. Seat is easy to replace. Only other issue is if there is bad rust in the tank.

Also the apple sticker needs to be changed to a windows sticker. Other than I think it will run pretty good.

Thanx,
She runs like a top so I'll be investing time and money for her.
Info stamp says 92, and the tank has been cleaned already, forgot the stuff I used but it was a three stage process, not much rust was in there mainly jus gunky old gas. and the apple sticker will be staying on, going to add a android bot spearing it  ;)
