Title: Good news on my GS
Post by: kensully on March 27, 2014, 01:40:20 PM
Since she has been coming together rather quickly, mechanically, I decided to go to dmv an register her.
Was kinda scared at first since the tags were up in 2010, but the lady there helped me out and reduced the $500 fee's down to a fee of $97  thanx dmv goddess, and so know she is street legal and my new commuter for now. worked out good so that I can go through my katana and get her all squared away for her over due service.

Got the fork issue with the GS fixed, had to solder the blinkers and gave her a good scrub down.
I think week after next I'll start on my painting portion of the project. though she doesn't look it cosmetically she has come along way and I'm loving it.
smallest street bike I have owned but in the top 3 of fun runs I've had, so glad the wife is letting me keep it, after loads of persuasion, but she finally came around  :woohoo:
