hey guys ive got a new problem :) shes slowly coming back to life, just the odd tic tac here and there haha, so anyways the other day i was out riding on the gs, everything was perfect until i ran out of fuel just as i got home, so i just parked it up and left it untill today, it had enough fuel to start up for me to pull it out of my garrage, but then died, but it seemed to only be firing from one cylinder, shes only just got new plugs in and both are sparking as they should, so i dont think its the plugs, could it just be fuel not getting through to both pots because its essentially dry?
Edit: i cleaned the plug in the right side, turned the engine a few times and checked again, the plug was still dry
Side stand = left carb gets fuel first.
You can also run out on 1 before the other ... when running.
Cool.
Buddha.
90% of GS starting problems stem from some sort of fuel starvation, old fuel, clogged jets and low battery's, fill it up with fresh fuel, charge the battery...if that don't do it you may end up in the carbs?
If the bike ran recently, it can't be anything too serious :whisper:
Did you set it to pri?
turns out that there was just enough for one chamber, and it was on its side stand so the left filled up first, filled up today and all is well :P thanks guys
