There was a bike, I believe it came in a 900cc form, and it looked like it had a ferrari testarossa type fairing. It had an 80's venting type or something similar to it. I hope this is coming across the right way. I just cant seem to find it. I thought it was an eliminator, or something like that, but I am out of luck!

Suzuki RF900...nice power, supposed to be a blade killer, also a bit on the heavy side.
There was a RF600 too...
Where is my cookie?
The VFR 750 has a vent type thing as well.
But yes the testarossa style is the RF 600 and 900.
Cool.
Buddha.
Piresito nailed it. I was looking for the RF900 or larger. I was looking for a particular person, but those were some bikes that never really caught on. I loved those things.
I'm toying with the idea of another bike, and thinking of an FZ6 FZ1, Z1000, Z750S, GS1100E, GS1200E, ZRX-1100/1200, or one of a few more here and there. Those are the frontrunners by a long shot though. I am really wanting a solid liter bike plus, to tool around town on mainly. I know it won't get great gas mileage, but I'm looking for a good condition, cheap toy that will fulfill all of my hooligan needs. At the front of all those choices, are the ZRZ series, Z1000, and FZ1 if I can find a good one. The GS's are probably last on the list.

I allways question myself why people in U.S. care about gas mileage when you have gas for half the price we have around here!
You can still have more fun for some years to come, while we really need to care about gas mileage now!
BTW, my cookie? I WANT MY COOKIE!! :2guns: :2guns: :2guns:

I love my FZ1. An R1 with touring comfort. Capable of stupid fast speeds and acceleration and more chuckable than a GS500.
150miles out of a tank is easy, 180miles if you are taking it easy on the freeway, 200miles if your are in going for maximum efficiency.
I like the aluminum framed SV1000 or the VFR750 - which isn't FI. Not the 800 or 1200 ...
FWIW, I think FI is a huge advantage. So is aluminum frame ... I'd not give up on either.
Cool.

Where is here? Are you U.S. Based. I was more meaning it not to be strictly economical I guess compared to my 11mpg truck. "Bad" gas mileage is 35mpg to me for a liter bike, or maybe a little less.
I definitely do my part though for saving and conserving where I can, but others I don't do a whole lot with, like MPG. I'm more into driving and riding strictly for fun while I can.

I always liked the tube frame of the SV650s. I hated to see it go.

Here in Portugal... it's like 8.5$ a gallon.
That makes a 1800cc gasoline car, to be considered a "torquey" and high consumtion car! ;-)
Enjoy while you can in there!
