Title: Where to get oil red lens cover cap thingy....also, what is it called?
Post by: ndlsjk on April 19, 2014, 08:10:16 PM
Hey guys,

Out for the second ride of the season and when I got home I noticed the red lens for the oil pressure light on the dash was missing. What is the proper name for this piece, and where can I order a replacement?

Thanks!

You cant buy oem new, best bet is to buy a trashed dash and take the lens of it. Or, I am sure patrick will chime in soon and he can send you one.

Yes I got some.
What year bike?
PM me your name & address and I'll mail you one.
Also, switch out the indicators to LED. The heat from the bulbs will degrade the glue and usually the blue one pops out from always using the high beam.

PM sent.

I'll find the LED swap guide and order the LEDs tomorrow, time to watch the F1 race and complain about the new quiet cars  :icon_confused:
