Post by: robfriedenberger on April 23, 2014, 10:42:53 PM
I just wanted to share my excitement because I finally got rid of my SV650 Mirrors and upgraded to bar end mirrors.
Only $15 off of amazon so well see how long they last.

Sorry the images are big, don't feel like cutting them down any smaller. =)

Nice Oil cooler :P, did you do the F to naked conversion yourself or pick it up like that?

as you can see in my dp my fairing is still intact but I've got to admit yours looks pretty sexy naked in yellow....

I picked up my bike with a cracked front fairing, and every thing destroyed. The PO's used it for a starter bike both of them dropped it on either side  So every thing was damaged with in 8,000 miles of it life. The starter clutch was acting up the PO though that the motor was blown so he wanted to see it. I didn't know about the issue when bought the bike but i stole it for $1000. So yes I did do the F conversion kinda the removal of the faring was rather easy though ......Thanks i guess to the PO

Mine has been dropped once at speed, twice on the driveway and pushed over once. The fairings are a little cracked around the indicators and i had to glue up one of the mounts between the side and front fairing. Overall though it's doing okay considering it's got about 40000km on it now.
