Found plenty Different style turn signals on ebay and amazon.
Are the plug and play?
Or do they require extra wiring or resistors inline?
Anyone have pictures of them on a GS?

If you swap out the stock turn signals with led signals (or even just the bulbs) you either need to wire inline resistors or swap the flasher relay to one that can handle the low led resistance. Otherwise your turn signals will flash extremely fast, sometimes to the point where they appear stuck on.

I have some inexpensive / Ebay LED turn signals on the back of the 94 I bought a few months ago. (Previous owner installed them).
He updated the flasher relay and they flash fine and are nice and bright but..... you may want to stay away from some of the cheaper / ebay / Taiwan flashers. They are so cheaply constructed, that even a slight bump will usually rotate or break them off. I have one hanging right now. I'm considering doing the mod to shorten the stalks on the factory rear turn signals that luckily the last owner kept and gave to me.
I have those same Chinese eBay LED signals(2 pairs) and while yes theyre not the best construction they are still working fine. I had to solder one sire back onto a resistor and had to glue the lens back onto one but theyre just fine now. If you do any DIY than theyll serve you well for a fraction of the price.
I agree. Mine do seem to work just fine and the quality is ok, it's just that you have to be "ultra careful" that nothing "really touches them". For example, I make a 10 minute stop about a mile from home, parked on the street and when I came out I noticed that someone must have bumped the signal with their leg while crossing between parked "cars" and crossing the street.
The turn signal was almost hanging. It just looked a little crooked. As soon as I touched it, it just dangled by the wire. If I had not noticed it and it fell off while riding, I'm sure someone behind me would not have seen my signal flashing.
That sort of thing just doesn't seem to happen "as often" with the factory signal stalks as they are much "beefier" and the factory wires and bullet connectors are better as well.
I'm not bashing the LED indicators, just passing along that observation. Keep an eye on them. You don't want someone making a left in front of you or rear-ending you because your signal rotated / broke off.
I actually like mine and at some point even ordered another pair with a slightly unique shape but I haven't installed them.
I'll tell ya' though. Recently I've seen some of those aftermarket mirrors with the large "amber LED patch of lights" on the the back side and a few LED "dots" on the mirror side. I kind of like those. In addition to your front signals, the higher LED's on the mirrors would seem to be a great backup / right in the view of other drivers.
