Title: Rear LED Blinkers
Post by: Br4denJ on April 30, 2014, 10:12:29 AM
Ok. I bought a 99 GS500E and the PO installed an LED rear tail light with blinkers integrated.

I modified my front stock blinkers because he had them completely taken off.

Now my right rear blinker only works when I hit the horn.

Why would that be?

Thanks

That's a good question, some thing isn't grounding correctly, look a a wiring diagram and get out your multi meter

Could it possibly be the battery charge?  I tossed the charger on and after a few minutes of charging it started working.  When I unhooked the battery it stopped working on its own but did with the horn.  All the other blinkers work.

I'm doubt flu at best, it wouldn't hurt to try a different battery but it's unlikely your issue

Well the blinker works when the bike is running so I'm not to worried about it
