So I just put my carb back together after some cleaning, and am running into an issue that I had before cleaning the carbs. When I start the bike, gas comes out of the overflow tube and now from the bottom of the carb itself. I am thinking it is probably a combination of the gaskets and the pin not setting right. Any suggestions of where to buy replacement gaskets and possibly new pins? I can get some pictures of the float bowls / pins tomorrow. When I had the float bowls apart, it didn't look like they were sticking at all. It is a 2001 GS500.

One of my bikes was missing a float needle when I got it and the overflow leaked like crazy, did you put everything back correctly?
Though a stuck float and cracked gaskets are more likely.
The float needles were installed correctly, from my understanding. I think the first step will be to replace the gaskets, as they seemed a little stiff and not in the best of shape. Does anyone know where I can buy them for the 2001 GS500? I looked online and when there were pictures of what was said to be the right gasket, it looked different than the ones I have.

When you say the bottom of the carb what do you mean? From the gasket at the top of the bowl? Or out of the drain plug at the very bottom of the carb? Also when you say overflow tube are you talking about the airbox? Mine was leaking through the air box before I replaced the needles. Just trying to narrow down exactly where your problems are
