Title: witch jet
Post by: Nocluejoe on May 05, 2014, 09:47:13 AM
i searched before asking but it seems everyone just uses the same jet im trying to re jet my bike i have a delkevic exhaust and k N pods. i live in florida where is hot as hell.bike is a 2007. Buddah told me to get 147.5, 20 pilots, 1 washer, 65 mids

however when i go to the store and on wiki it says: For 2001+ models, your mains will be N102.221 and your pilots will be N224.103 or VM28/486  they both carry those numbers i need but the first model number length is 2 mm and the second one is 2.5mm.

witch one is the best and why?

why do they even list two when they are both different?

Give it a little longer,
Not everyone gets on here 24/7
I cannot help you as I live in OZ and would never touch my carbs but the US guys should be able to help.
Be patient. :thumb:

The N224.103 series is what is meant for the carbs; the VM28/486 series has the same threads and will also fit into the carb bodies.

I'd say use the N224.103 if you can; but if not, the VM28/486 is a viable alternative.
