As you may be aware, we made a group donation in Patrick's name to a cat shelter down the street from his house.
This pretty much says it all...
OMG what a sweet lady, Made me tear up listening to that. :(
Yea I know. It kind of tears your guts out because when she saw his photo and read the letter she put it all together. I am not surprised he had been there. It is just such an honest assessment of how people saw him and got to know him. She would probably skin me alive for sharing, but my wife was so moved she thought everybody should hear how Patrick touched people in small ways. I mean, she ended up hanging out in the bike cave.
Even as cold as I am, I was moved by her sincerity and unvarnished grief for a man she only met a few times, but left an impression with her for sure.
What a character. We are lucky to have known him.
When she said that Patrick wanted the cat condo delivered, I thought "Patrick can't haul the cat condo himself.....because he is most likely riding his motorcycle."
Thanks John.
I wish I could have gotten to know him better, as is I haven't been a member here all that long and haven't really understood the impact he has had on not just the forum members but the community as a whole.
I also wish I could have helped donate, but I am currently in a state of very limited income and can hardly afford to keep my truck fueled let alone give money away.
He will be missed.

He and ray put the house in stitch and other cats name. he held the cats in high regard. he seems like I would do. disrespect a cat or harm it youd see a rage like no other. I think shed be fine over it. knowing the person he was AND STILL IS
GOD bless you john, GOD bless those that gave, this made my day. lets make a bit of a promise Eh?, if you want to make a donation to a shelter, and don't want to for whatever reason donate to a local one, keep this one in mind, and make it in his name

They have paypal right on their site and I was easily able to make a donation even though I missed the initial one.

And they did something for Patrick and refused money so this is their reward. Obviously kitty harbor in Seattle will accept any and all donations in Patrick's name. And Anybody can stop by and see his photo watching over the adoption area when they open for adoptions on June 14th.

Wow, unfortunately I didn't get to know Patrick like everyone else on here and I didn't see this post about donations in time to contribute. What a tribute from her and from everyone here to the person he was. Brought tears to my eyes listening to the voicemail. At the end of my life, I can only hope that there are people that respect me enough to feel the way everyone feels about this amazing man.
It would be nice to know that somebody that only met you for a few hours mourns your passing. It is a tribute to his good nature.
I finally listened to it...man, that's rough.
Tell me about it.
I'm afraid to ask... which member is Patrick? I log onto the forum after a while and I find this. :-(
Nevermind... I figured it out... I heard about this sad news already. RIP.
No worries an. He was hardly ever mentioned on first name basis. Tis okay
