Title: loose forks??
Post by: MARider on May 29, 2014, 11:23:41 AM
So I was moving my bars back and forth and it looked as though my forks where moving slightly. I torqued everything down proper..I feel like I am going crazy..could it just be the top mount moving (the mount for the handle bars) any one else every witness this or am I spending to much time in my garage painting stuff

When u torqued everything down did anything move....if not then paint in a more ventilated area.  :)

Hey Janx, Yes it is installed and tightened..so it was the top clip on mount. It just needs to be snugged up..it moves maybe 1/10 of a mm but it bugs me and loose things on the front end is never good. I cant find my short extension so I haven't got to tighten it yet..its on my list of stuff do get done tonight. Oh and those little caps on the allen heads on there are a real bugger.

Those caps just push-on the top of the allen...use anything with a THIN edge to gently pry off.
