Title: Anybody have a stock muffler laying around?
Post by: Big Rich on May 30, 2014, 06:36:37 PM
I need one for an experiment, so it doesn't have to be pretty - just functional. Oh yeah, and cheap. Preferably around the Pittsburgh, PA area so shipping costs will be lower.

Surely somebody has a stock can collecting cobwebs? Thanks in advance folks.

I actually have one since I put on a used jardine. Pipes are dinged up but worked fine to me. I'm located just north of Philadelphia in the 19055 area code. I'd just have to find a box large enough to send it lol.

Hey GI Joe.  I grew up in Levittown - still have family there.  (In New Hope / Solebury now).  Small World.

Bump.

I should have specified: I need a muffler that still has a couple inches of the mid pipe / header attached. Anybody have one?

Sorry I did not get back sooner... one is cut at the weld and the other has about 3/8" left

If you get a chance, can you pm me pics of the one with 3/8"s on it? I have a flux core welder, so if it's thin steel I might just melt through it.....
