Title: Slip-ons
Post by: mp_3eb_tool on February 02, 2004, 02:05:08 PM
What is the best sounding slip-on exhaust for the price for our GS's?  I've only been able to find Cobra F1S's or F1R's and the Vance and Hines supersport exhaust.  That Vance is a little more than I would like to spend.  Do the F1S's sound good?  If anyone has a sound clip that would be awesome.  Thanks!

Do you already have a pipe that accepts a slip-on or are you buying a whole system (pipe and can)?

The stock system is completely welded (at least here in Canada).  You would have to get an aftermarket pipe or make your own adapters.

The SV uses a clamp-on aftermarket can. The stock system has to be cut for the aftermarket can to be installed. They have a 2-1/8" inlet.
