Anyone with fork boots know a general size range?
I am looking at Daystar 58 series
They ate listed for 30-40mm, correct? Should fit just fine. The tops will probably need a zip tie to keep them tight, and the bottoms will probably take some muscle to stretch them over the lower fork assembly.
Hi, the 58's are for 11" of travel front suspensions which in your case would be very scrunched up when installed I would go with the 83's which are a few inch's shorter
Good Plan.
Thanks
get up some pictures when you get them on..I personally would like to see how they look as I was thinking of doing it myself as our roads dont seem to be sand free untill its almost winter again
I certainly will.
But until I do. Check out this Austrailian cafe/brat. He has them and it looks great.

I am torn now..I like them but there is a really good deal on a katana front end..the deal is that its free
Mar, to me that's a no-brainer: function over form. Assuming the Kat front end isn't trashed, of course.
Oh I wouldn't say trashed..lets say needs TLC. I already ordered the fork seals and have fork oil so I think that should be about it..I really wish the older Kat rear wheel would fit on the gs with out a whole hell of alot of mods.

Please ignore last post..I had a brain fart as they are the same rear wheel as our bikes.. :cookoo:
I'm glad I found this
Has anyone ever tried this and is it easy to take the forks off?
