I did a rejet (Buddha kit), added a k&n lunchbox, and slip on yoshi. the yoshi i added first and did not change anything but the sound. I did the rejet and and bike idles with no problem. Played with my air mix screws and got the backfiring to stop. However under load the bike hits a wall at 3k rpm and will not go past 5k. Also when I choke it dies. What could the problem be?
Sound like your running to rich, id start with your mixture screws all the way in and work them out. Also you can try a power balance test to see if you just have an issue with one of the carbs

Please dont do what he said.
You have something major that's off.
Look into my PM to you, and if those are OK ... look if you have a rip in the diaphragm.
My $$$ is on a kinked slide spring ... Take off the air filter and slide the slides up and down ... if it wont slide easy just acing against spring force - do no force it.
Oooo you seat the diaphragms right in the groove - and not get one edge out ... that too can do this.
My $$$ is on slide issues.
