Title: Catch can Question?

hey guys i was just wondering if any of you guys could shed a little light on this for me, Catch can, i was told to get one to increase performance, what are they, what do they do, and how would i install one haha?
any help is appriciated.

Do you still have your stock air box? If so, that's your catch can. Catch cans are usually used on race tracks (I believe they are required? ) when an air box is removed and pod air filters are installed. The can is attached to the crank case breather hose located at the very top of the motor. On a stock bike, that hose is ran to the air box.
