I have an original roam hd with roam2 firmware. It does ok in the city at night, not spectacular. It'd probably be pretty useless on the highway though.

As much as I don't usually cross promote websites. .. ask around at motovlog.com ... several of us here are on there and there's LOTS of camera info and users :)

Contour HD's are nice cameras. They are very popular in paintball because they have a smaller profile compared to gopros. I don't think they will do too well at night though. Most small and portable cameras dont.

Didn't contour go out of business? I think I would want a camera that had a warranty and support.

Yes they did but I heard they came back, possibly under a different name.

Any one try the atc chameleon dual lens camera? The reviews are pretty good they record front and rear cam at the same time and you can choose witch to view or both. I found this camera for 49$ so I figured its worth a shot the video isn't bad at all surprisingly

I was thinking of mounting it on the side of the bike have it record the front of me and the rear
