Title: FS: 1992 GS Project/parts bike
Post by: cWj on June 25, 2014, 09:41:45 PM
UPDATE 7/10: The headlight bezel and gauge cluster are spoken for. Have at the rest!

Hello, folks.

On my quest to find a replacement stator, I came across a fellow-Staten Islander with a bike that would the basis for a nice summer custom or resto project. He is also willing to part the bike out.

It's a 92 with 26K and change in the clock. It's been down in the left at least once, but nothing major. IT has engine guards and you know how the GS takes punches...

Everything but the tank is there. It was a running bike up until 3 or 4 years ago and has spent the rest of that time living in a garage. The frame seemed pretty rust-less.

Brace yourself for pics:

The tricky part is that he doesn't have the title for it.

He's really looking to clear the space, so make an offer and he'll listen. Had I the space, I'd consider it.

If you're in the surrounding area and need delivery, I might be able to help with that as well.

ask questions and PM offers and I'll pass them along. If you need more pics, I'll try to get them.

As I said, he is a motivated seller.
