Title: new bike
Post by: paui on February 03, 2004, 12:07:43 PM
well i got that '96 cbr f3 some of u might remember me talking about (pablo was nice enough to give me a link cbrworld.net.  even thought i found out about it earlier, its the thought that counts)
its white/red/black/neon yellow with a salvage title (explains my last post)
damage is limited to the left and right upper cowling, part of the middle cowling is missing, and fairing stay is tweaked. about 20k miles on the clock. little rash here and there (nothing serious) and the shifter is bent a little
now that makes 3 bikes for me. gs500, 250 ninja and the f3.  when spring comes around i think ill have to let at least 1 of them go, but most probably 2  :(
ill try to post some pics if:
1) i figure out how
2)i can find someplace to host them
3)if i ever go to my friends house, where all 3 bikes are being stored for the winter
after looking at the 250 ninja forums and the cbr forums, ive come to realize that this one is by FAR the best...ppl with sportbikes seem to buy everything and just bolt it on and spend mucho $$
this is probably the only forum ive been to where people make their own stuff or get them made...i like that

yeah, this is a good group. You'll like the cbr though. check out http://dev.swforums.com (I think). This site hosts photos free. That's where all the pictures I post are hosted from. check one of my recent posts (the paint scheme thread in particular) and right click on the picture for the actual link if the one above isn't right. You can upload your picture from your computer to that website and then post that link as a picture.

congrats on a new bike...

Don't buy new plastic.

Get that plastic fixed and painted back to match (incl. graffics) for less $$$.
Check out my buddy Bob @

//www.empiregp.com

Tell him BanannaMan sent you.

If it were mine I would lose that silly fairing and install an Acerbics(sp) nose fairing. There is a courier I know who has a F3 set up like that and it looks pretty cool but I am partial to the streetfighter look.
