Title: GS500F NAKED CONVERSION
Post by: Marty on July 14, 2014, 12:09:58 PM
I have a 2009 Suzuki GS500F that I want to convert to a naked. Im pretty sure I just need the circular headlight and new mirrors. Im having a hard time finding the headlight online so I was wondering if anyone on here has one for sale or trade for F parts. Has anyone had any luck with a universal headlight setup? I'm located in Minneapolis, MN.

Hey Marty,

Are you looking to sell your fairings?  If so, what colour are they and what shape are they in?  My right side fairing is pretty banged up and have wanted to replace it for a while now.

Never did it myself but here's one I remember that used the F headlight mounted with a pair of universal bracketrs:

I have the universal light that came with my bike.  I switched everything out to original E parts.  The headlight is a 6" instead of the normal 7".  Aztec 8 brand.  You'll need to pick up a pack of washers or spacers for the bolts that attach the brackets to the fork tubes.  There is nothing to keep it from sliding side to side.  Price, ummm, $40 + shipping?
