Title: '06 GS500F for Sale. Locking hard cases for commuting/touring. Lots of upgrades.
Post by: Bluesmudge on July 19, 2014, 06:32:24 PM
Its time for me to move on to a bigger bike. A family member is selling me a Vstrom at a good price, so I'm selling the trusty GSF.

The bike has Hepco & Becker luggage rack and locking side cases (top case is a an Emgo unit). Enough storage space to tour two-up or take home all the groceries.
It is an '06 with '09 plastics

Comfort and convenience upgrades:

Touring screen with laminar lip
Mirror extenders
Rox handlebar risers
Aluminum hand guards with wind deflectors
Aluminum fatbar
Grip puppies
Waterproof quick release "tank bag" with attached see-through accessory holder (both made from pelican cases)
Gel seat pad
12v accessory outlet
Passenger seat non-skid cover
Full Hepco & Becker luggage rack (side and rear) and locking side cases.
Emgo locking trunk

Performance Upgrades:
Shorai Lithium Battery
Sonic Fork Springs
Katana 600 rear shock (powder coated white)
Solid aluminum fork brace
CBR 600 rearsets
Brisk Plugs
K&N drop-in air filter
PAIR system removed
+1 jet kit

Cosmetic/Misc Upgrades:
R&G Frame sliders
Top Sellerie Tank protector
Carbon Fiber fender extender

33,500 miles with recent valve adjustment, carb sync, oil change. Brakes and tires are in good condition. The bike starts immediately and runs perfect. There are two small dents in the tank (covered by the tank protector), the engine covers are a little scratched. Also, there is a hole in the touring screen from a rock but the stock Suzuki windscreen will be included.

$2,500 for GStwinners. There is about $1000 in the hard cases system alone, so I think its a fair deal.

I am located in Centralia/Chehalis WA but am frequently in Seattle so I could deliver the bike along the I5 corridor for a serious buyer.

Any interest in selling just the side cases with all the mounting hardware and windscreen?

Make an offer via PM. Also keep in mind shipping is expensive for the cases. Did you see the note that the screen has a hole in it? You can make it out in the photos.

I have taken the top case off to put on my new bike.  How about $2200?
