Title: forged pistons
Post by: robtech on August 08, 2014, 04:04:59 PM
who makes them? i've heard mention of them in the past...does anyone know what company actually makes forged pistons for the gs?  or if anyone knows what pistons i can adapt from a diff bike but displacement needs to stay the same...even 1mm overbore will bump me out of the class...thanks in advance

lol! in all seriousness though im building a turbo gs and chasing a land speed record with it so if anyone knows a solid place to go it would be extremely helpful

and naysayers feel free to stay out...people always say you cant do something until you do it so i really dont care for any negative input, keep it to urself and i'll prove you wrong

Back in the early 70's I used to drag race V8 Rambler's, if you wanna piss somebody off...hand them their ass with a pink Rambler station wagon....I for one say you can do whatever you want as long as you have an attitude like yours   :thumb:

I used Mahle and Omega forged pistons in my cars...
Maybe they could mock you up a set if you pass on the specs?
(Hope money is no option)
