Title: New paintjob?

If i were to takle my bike to a shop and get it professionally painted, how many bills do you think it would cost me? (i dont feel like rattle-canning my bike :()

maybe 200 - 400 for the front fender, gastank and side fairing...

no problem...you can get it done for a lot cheaper but if you want a good job and nice paint, expect to pay at least 200

what colour do you want?

Paint the headlight shell too!

It's a pain and you have to mark and disconnect a bunch of wires..
(I numbered small strips of masking tape) but it really changes the look of the bike.
If you don't like it you could always rattle-can it back black or silver.

(ER...no comments on the super-hero....I don't know what I did with the original pic)

Actually, depending on how nice you want the paint to be, it could cost you up to $500-$600. I had mine done with 3 colors by a shop who is known to be a bit high, but they did a spectacular job. It ran me a bit over $600.

PS. Paint the backs of the gauges also. It looks sooo snazzy.
