Title: tips on selling bike

do u guys think its worth fixing a wrecked bike and selling it or just sell it as it is? i might sell the cbr f3 i just bought and im not sure if itll fetch much more if i fix it and sell it or just sell it...
i kinda want to fix it b/c i wanna take it out for a spin or two or three or nine...also i could point out some problems to the buyer....

Depends on what needs to be fixed.  If its minor, I say fix it.  If its major, I say don't fix it, subtractit from your final price.  

There are two main points in selling as I see it - 1) you first need to SELL the bike 2) you want to sell the bike for as much as possible.

In NY, I would wait until late April/early May when the MSF classes are full and people can't wait to get into biking.  Then I think you'll be able to get both of these goals accomplished.

You need to tell us what needs to be fixed though.

oops....it was under my post "new bike"
front fairings and fairing stay is tweaked
front fairing is like 3 pieces i think maybe the inspection door is missing

Pick up a new skin and bracket on ebay. keep an eye out for deals and you should be able to replace the panels and bracket for under $150.
