So the problem is:
When Im lowering my speed with gear 1 on, there is this weird spinning sound vouvouvouvou.
There is no matter if I have my clutch pushed or not, still same issue. Speed is usually maybe 10km/h like in parking hall..
Immediatly when i change gear to neutral or second it stops.
This is pretty new, have been going on maybe like 1 month.
Any ideas?
Maybe it's the sound the vented front rotor makes on the GS at low speeds braking lightly coming to a stop. Probably just a coincidence it's only heard in 1st gear??
I think is not coincidence because it stops when i change gear from first gear and
when i change it back it starts again.
So it wont keep that sound on any other gears, with slow speed.
Straight cut gear whine ????
Cool.
buddha.
With litlle youtube searching about that sound I would say nope, but i can't be sure.
It doesn't happen in when I'm speeding up(In every video it was happening in speedin up also?). Only speeding down. And again only on gear 1.
I think its just weirdest that I can push my clutch or not push my clutch and still the voice is there on down speeding. :dunno_black:

If pulling in the clutch doesn't change it, then it's probably the chain. I can't understand why it would make a difference what gear you are in once you pull in the clutch.
I have no idea why it makes difference but it makes. Chain and sprockets are new (3months). Ill try to tighten it up bit first thing tomorrow morning, but I think its allready ok. And also I'll open brake pads. Lets see after that.
If it's chain / sprocket noise...you must LOOSEN chain to make noise go away. Try the max allowable chain deflection of 1.2 inches....
Also check rear wheel alignment ...front sprocket vs rear sprocket.

Its allready really near to that 3cm as manual says. Did check it couple days ago, because that was first thing that also came in my mind.
All 3 of my Suzukis have whined in first gear like you describe. I'm of the thought that it's a normal thing
It might be, I'm pretty new rider. Maybe I'm just trying to find problems that doesnt exist :dunno_black:
Maybe Ill just record it and put video up to be sure if its same whining.
