I bought these frame sliders and they are great. I got them for piece of mind in case I ever drop my bike.

They look nicer than R&G imo and are priced well! I am a happy customer!

If you decide to ship out the reinforced fork braces, I'd take a set of these too.

Reload, when you get a chance can you measure the assembled width?

I'm putting a GSXR fairing on my GR650 and can't find case savers, so these might be a viable alternative for me if they stick out further than the fairing. Thanks in advance!

Ack.

I should probably point out that the sliders had seen their share of action including whatever drops the previous owner had and the positively amazing individual who not only knocked over but proceed to PUSH my bike across the ground with her car.

The sliders are still useable, the mounting bolt has earned a respectable retirement.

Ack withdrawn.  Thanks for clarifying.

Het ShowBizWolf, excuse me for being so forward, but you dont want these on your bike.
If you drop the bike, its just a few gouges on the side covers. They can be filled out. If you crash, the bike will probaly be f***ed.
And they will look shaZam! on your bike anyway, just sayin  :2guns:

Thanks for your opinion Johno.

While I high speed accident can definitely wipe out frame sliders, they just might save the engine during low / no speed drops. For the low cost of these frame sliders (and not to mention that another forum member makes them), that's some peace of mind for only a little $$$.

So... a useful piece of protective equipment? Lol. I'm not sure I get your argument here.

I totally hear ya about those side covers... I have had to make mine look purdy again at least twice lol :icon_rolleyes:

I think they look pretty cool... and I was also thinking about the "highway peg" function they could serve :dunno_black:
