bump. new pics added
I bought these frame sliders and they are great. I got them for piece of mind in case I ever drop my bike.
They look nicer than R&G imo and are priced well! I am a happy customer!
If you decide to ship out the reinforced fork braces, I'd take a set of these too.
yeah... will these be shipped out with those braces?
i have two sets as of now ready to go for these. you can order together or separate.
I will be grabbing a pair of these very soon most likely, FYI.
Nice work.
Hmmm I'm interested. Maybe in a couple of weeks?
i made one special edition 1.5" version that i have right now and i'm out of the regular 1.375". i am going to make more or om me if interested in the one i have right now.
does anybody want white sliders?
Reload, when you get a chance can you measure the assembled width?
I'm putting a GSXR fairing on my GR650 and can't find case savers, so these might be a viable alternative for me if they stick out further than the fairing. Thanks in advance!
the extension passed the frame rail is 5". but ill make it longer or shorter if you want.
Let me know when you have more stock in, looking for a set. Thanks!
i'll have more this week. my material is on the way.
Reload,
How much for just the long bolt? Already have sliders, but snapped righty off in a low speed drop.
You dropped the bike and one snapped off??

R & G
sent you a pm
Glad Reload can hook you up!
\/ Thanks ShowBizWolf I missed that and have since edited.
A few posts back he said he had R & G sliders... sucks that one broke off! :2guns:
Are these just for nekkid bikes?
Mary
yes unless you cut a hole in the fairings.
in stock btw.

Ack.
I should probably point out that the sliders had seen their share of action including whatever drops the previous owner had and the positively amazing individual who not only knocked over but proceed to PUSH my bike across the ground with her car.
The sliders are still useable, the mounting bolt has earned a respectable retirement.

Ack withdrawn. Thanks for clarifying.
Are you still making these? If so I may be interested in picking up a set pretty soon.
Yes I am. Pm me when ready.
Do you happen to have another set still for sale?
sure do. pm sent
Bump to see if these are still available for anyone who might be interested !!
Het ShowBizWolf, excuse me for being so forward, but you dont want these on your bike.
If you drop the bike, its just a few gouges on the side covers. They can be filled out. If you crash, the bike will probaly be f***ed.
And they will look shaZam! on your bike anyway, just sayin :2guns:
Johno
Thanks for your opinion Johno.
While I high speed accident can definitely wipe out frame sliders, they just might save the engine during low / no speed drops. For the low cost of these frame sliders (and not to mention that another forum member makes them), that's some peace of mind for only a little $$$.
It's like wearing elbow pads on a skateboard.

So... a useful piece of protective equipment? Lol. I'm not sure I get your argument here.
I totally hear ya about those side covers... I have had to make mine look purdy again at least twice lol :icon_rolleyes:
I think they look pretty cool... and I was also thinking about the "highway peg" function they could serve :dunno_black:
yes, still available. pm me.
