Right i need to know what alternative throttle tubes fit the GS500 Switchgear and cable. I'm fitting aftermarket bars, grips etc to my project, and because the GS500 tube has raised lips for the standard grips to fit over moulded in, i cannot get the aftermarket grips to fit. so what i need to know is.. what plain tube fits that does not have these raised lips but yet still give the same range of motion as the original, is there anything off other Suzuki models or a universal fitment one that will work for sure.. i really don't want to be buying parts that are useless as not got money to burn. and i don't want to dremel my original as i want to keep it in case i put my bike back to standard spec at a later date. hopefully a few of you guys in here will have used alternative grips etc. so can steer me in the right direction.
There is an aftermarket grip that fits - Not as well as the stock but fits it none the less.
Also, a katana throttle tube and grips are better than GS and they fit inside the GS switch assy.
