I need a set of skins for the GS500F. Not wanting to break the bank. I have another bike I ride for the real hardcore twisty stuff.
I need a decent set of tires that will give me some good life but be "ok" on a winding road. Maybe like a good sport touring tire.
What seems to be the most popular for the GS500 crowd now ?
Thanks in advance for the advice.
And am I the only one who has trouble being able to tell what the verification letters are ?
Avon Roadriders..
Don't you read previous posts?
what do you mean verification letters?

I can only get the verification letters right if I listen to them
OK...If the tires are talking to you...maybe we keep that as our little secret?

I did a search for tires but could not find anything recent that addressed what I was looking for.
When posting, there is a verification process that has to be filled out before it will allow the post to be uploaded. The letters in the captcha are VERY hard to make out.
Omg yes... I had to listen to them as well. Some of those letters are very hard to figure out what they are. Thank God they go away after your first handful of posts! :D
Oh yeah and Idk if the search showed you this pretty recent thread but it has some good tire info in it that may help you!

Either way, I was amused. 8)

I had read that thread and was leaning towards the Roadriders. Just wanted to see if that was still the conventional wisdom. I ordered a set from Dennis Kirk. They had the best total price shipped that I could find on-line. $182 for the set to my door.
Probably someone will now post where I could have gotten the set for $150.......that is the kind of luck I have.
I also got stuck on the verification question something like "suzuki also makes _ _ _ _. I tried ATVs, Quads, 4x4s, and a bunch of other things. after a long time AND a google search, I finally put in CARS. Whodda thunk it. On a bike site.
Yep. Honda and Suzuki are the only ones of the "Big 4" that leapt into the automotive realm. Sadly, Suzuki's USA division won't be selling any more cars.
