I've got a lunchbox filter, 20/65/142.5 jets, and an aftermarket R6 (yoshimura) slip-on, on a 2006 GS500. It feels like when I'm warming it up I need to blip the throttle to get it to grab, and even after riding a while and stopping the rpms hit 1100 before climbing back to the 1400 rpms that its set at.
Is this mild fuel starvation and is this a problem that occurs with the upgrades I've done?
May i ask what mixture screws were set at?, youCOULD upgrade the petcock, but ive as well as many others have done similar upgrades without petcock upgrade
3 turns out. I think I actually might be asking the wrong question and I'm thinking that my actual problem is I need a larger main jet after installing an R6 yoshi slip on.
I know fuel starvation and leaning due to a small main jet are different but I suppose I attributed one to the other.
